Using sparkling water to decaffeinate coffee beans is a gentle, natural and organically certified process in which to remove caffeine from coffee beans. This method involves immersing the green coffee in tanks of water and carbon dioxide (essentially forming sparkling water); which draws out the mobile caffeine molecules without removing the components that attribute to flavour and aroma.
What results is a coffee that is incredibly low in caffeine without sacrificing quality and taste.
